Ira Waldorf Teacher Foundation Course
The Ira Waldorf Teacher Foundation Course embarks on a journey of seven modules over 3-4 years with two modules every year (May-June & October-November) to understand:
-
What is "being human"?
-
What do I do with the children before me?
-
How do I learn to “see” them and understand what they seek?
-
How do I serve them best for their own destiny and mine?
-
How can I constantly stay striving?

Through the modules we work deeply to understand:
-
The medical and physiological development of children from embryology through the various seven year cycles of human development; the human organs and how they are mirrored, carried and reflected with the social, emotional and spiritual needs of children with the constant background of karma and destiny.
-
Inner developmental work of teachers, their own personal journey and building their capacities to be able to write their own curriculum based on their understanding of their own children.
-
Building communities amongst teachers, parents and schools and learning to work together.

Ira Module 1

This five day intensive training programme is the first module of the Waldorf Training Course offered by Ira. Teachers, educational professionals, doctors, parents or any individual interested in education may join this course - there is no pre qualification required.

Through our Module One, we offer a glimpse into what the Ira training entails:
-
A deepening understanding of ourselves through movement.
-
Learning the art of observation of the other and the self through Goetheanistic observation.
-
Deepening of understanding Rudolf Steiner’s lectures to his teachers about their task of this age.
-
Practical classroom work or artistic work to deepen one’s experiences as well as help understand children and how they learn best.
-
Group work through discussions, presentations and music.
-
Evening lectures on karma, destiny, birth and human embryology and it’s significance in our lives.
During the module, participants are free to have individual meetings with their mentors. At the end of the module, students are guided to spend their time until the next module in deepening their knowledge and skills in their own journeys.
