Welcome to your next Ira module that runs as a seven-day retreat this time in Vadodara, Gujarat. Apart from Ira’s familiar elements that we have come to love and expect, such as movement, text study, plant study, music, handwork and lectures, the format further flourishes this time under the able guidance of Dr. Michaela.

 

We are honoured, humbled, privileged and delighted to host Dr. Michaela Glocker, a Pediatrician who has also been the Head of the Medical Section for 28 years at the Goetheanum, Dornach/Switzerland. She is a renowned and respected author in the field of education, medicine and spirituality and often talks about the intersection between technology and child development.

 

This Ira module is like the bridge in a song, a bridge connecting two worlds, a bridge across forever. For seven days, we immerse ourselves in Dr. Michaela’s lectures and teachings under the theme of ‘Healing the Social’, that seems both paramount and urgent to the times we live in. The battles and struggles of the everyday are real, and the need to engage the will, the heart and mind in meaningful and purposeful ways has become the call of the hour.

 

It is a gift of an experience for module participants with Dr. Michaela that encapsulates our earlier module discussions and revelations in new perspectives, and brings our different paths and journeys into a culminating moment of shared hope, love and warmth. This is community at its most crucial, joy at its highest form of reverence and an understanding of the world that resonates most with us.
